Written by Brandon's
uncle, Bob Rodriguez:
|
Hello, My name is Bob Rodriguez and I am Brandon's uncle. On behalf of Brandon's
family, The Bandas, Gaydosz, Bradfords, Rodriguezs, Godoys and Brooks, I
would like to thank everyone for coming to my nephew Brandon's services.
I know that Brandon touched all of you in some way as he did me.
I first met Brandon when Bobby (Brandon's dad) married my sister, Roxanne.
As I was introduced to Brandon, he looked at me with that great smile, hugged me
and said "How ya doing, Tio?" (meaning uncle in Spanish). I was very moved by
this and knew then that Brandon had a heart of gold and that he treasured family
from that day forward. I remember the fun we had with Brandon at our family
get-togethers, the holidays, and at his wedding, I remember the fun he had with
all his cousins, Jeremy, Mark, Christine, Vic, Jerrod, Gabe..to name a few, the
list goes on, and also his friends and co-workers. He had a close bond with his
brother Nick, Zach and Frankie, and most of all, his little sister Michelle
"always being the big brother that he was".
He loved his parents Bobby & Roxanne and Sherrill & John and most of all,
he had tremendous love and devotion for his wife, Sunny and his daughter, Jazz.
So this is how I will always remember my nephew Brandon....a person with a heart
of gold. I would like to close this with a passage from the Bible that made me
think of Brandon.
John 21:16-17
Jesus asked Simon Peter, "So, you really love me?" "Yes, Lord", said
Peter, "Then take care of my sheep", Jesus said.
Peter loved Jesus and was instructed to take care of his sheep. We as a
family will continue to love and take care of Sunny and Jazz as Brandon would
have taken care of them.
We love and miss you Brandon, may God watch over you and some day we will
be together.
Love your Uncle Bob & Family
